The positions of Admin assistant is available with GB Group

 

Construction is a seasonal industry and our particular business relies upon a high degree of committment over the summer and autumn period of the year.

 

This position is therefore suitable to a Temporary visitor with authority to work in the United Kingdom or a permanent employee.

 

  1. The position of an admin assistant within GB Group is challenging and demanding to meet the introduction of new rules for the industry and the continued and expected growth of the business.

 

  1. The role requires a person that is dynamic and willing to work within a challenging environment within one of the hottest places in town.

 

  1. Previous knowledge of either Winbuild or Evolution “construction industry specific” accounting systems would be a benefit. (additional training would provided if required).

 

  1. GB Group is a “growing” business turnover to March 06 to be in the region of £7.5million.  Anticipated turnover to March 07 in the region of £9million.

 

  1. GB Group is a direct resource organisation which means that a high volumne of transactions is generated for Direct labour resources and Material acquisitions of the company.

 

  1. Reporting directly to the Managing director and under the direct administration of the financial controller this role is one with scope for development of existing knowledge and advancement of a career in construction as the company grows.

 

  1. The position would ideally suit a mature individual, who has experience of working in this particular demanding industry.

 

  1. The position available is based upon a contract of hours of 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, but as GB Group is a growing business the ability to improvise and commit to the requirements of the company should be considered as above and beyond these hours.

 

  1. The current holiday entitlements are 16 paid holiday days, plus the existing statutory 8 day public holiday entitlement,

 

  1. A discretionary profit award distribution scheme is available for the right candidate whereby the company commits to an award scheme that is over and above their salary entitlement, which is relevant to P8 above.
